FitMatchAtlas ("FMA", "we", "us", "our") is a pre-launch community platform that connects athletes traveling to fitness events worldwide. When you sign up for early access, we collect the following information that you voluntarily provide: • Full name • Email address • City / location • Instagram handle (optional) • Gender and age range (optional) • Sport and experience level • Events you are attending • What you are looking for (training partner, travel buddy, etc.) • How you heard about us • Any additional information you share in the open text fields We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data.

We use the information you provide to: • Manually match you with other athletes going to the same events • Send you updates about FitMatchAtlas, including beta launch news and match introductions • Improve the platform and understand what our community needs • Contact you via email or Instagram DM with relevant introductions We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your information to third parties — ever.

Your sign-up data is stored securely in Airtable, a third-party database platform. Airtable is GDPR-compliant and stores data on secure servers. Only the FitMatchAtlas founding team has access to this data. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, but no system is completely secure. By signing up, you acknowledge this.

We will only share your information with other FMA members as part of a personal introduction, and only if you have indicated you are open to being connected (via the consent checkbox on the sign-up form). We will never share your information with brands, advertisers, sponsors, or any third party for commercial purposes. We may share data with service providers who help us operate (e.g. Airtable for storage, email providers) under strict confidentiality.

You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Request correction of inaccurate data • Request deletion of your data at any time • Withdraw consent for us to contact you To exercise any of these rights, DM us on Instagram at @fitmatchatlas and we will action your request promptly.

Our website may use basic cookies for analytics and performance (e.g. to understand how visitors use the site). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. By using our website, you consent to this minimal use of cookies.

FitMatchAtlas is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform evolves. We will notify registered users of any significant changes via email. The date of the most recent update is shown at the bottom of this page.
